Stuff-A-Bus Food Drive Details

Stuff-A-Bus is a local food drive with the goal of filling a bus from end to end with non-perishable items. Once the bus is full, all food items are handed over to our local Holy Family Church in Camillus, NY. Stuff-A-Bus began with nine friends joining together to help out families in need during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Volunteers are a vital lifeline for Stuff-A-Bus and other FabNine events. Subscribe to our newsletter to see what events you can volunteer for.

FabNine's 1st Annual Stuff-A-Bus was a Huge Success!
The 2009 FabNine Food Drive provided Holy Family with 3,700 non-perishable items! Special thanks to Holy Family Church, the West Genesee School District Office, and our volunteers who helped make this event possible. Help us reach our goal of 5,000 food items in 2010 by donating now!

Know The Facts About Hunger!

Stuff-A-Bus is very important to our community because right now millions of Americans live each day in hunger or on the verge of hunger. Some of the eye opening facts about hunger in America include:

  • One in five people in a soup kitchen line is a child
  • In 1999, approximately 12 million American children were hungry or at risk of hunger
  • Nearly 1 in 5 children (more than 12 million) in the U.S. live in poverty
  • 46% of cities surveyed by the U.S. Conference of Mayors identified domestic violence as a primary cause of homelessness
  • Recent research indicates that even mild undernutrition experienced by young children during critical periods of growth may lead to reductions in physical growth and affects brain development
